Molten Lamps utilize raw low-density polyethylene pellets and a hand-crafted process to create pendants of subtly varied forms. Raw pellets are heated and fused from the inside out allowing the texture of the material to be maintained on the exterior. The hemispherical shades are then layered creating a gradient of opacity from top to bottom.

Through experimentation, the unique heat-forming technique was developed to accentuate the industrial material in its most raw state. The form and function of the lamps nod to the heat involved in the production process.
